Yoga
Unlike group yoga classes in gyms or studios, our Yoga classes are designed specifically for those recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, working to restore healthy movement patterns, or prefer safe way to practice Yoga in supportive environment.
We have 2 types of Yoga classes available, depending on what your needs are: Smart Yoga and Chair Yoga. Read on below to find out more.
Smart Yoga
This is yoga designed not for performance, but for healing, strength, and confidence — helping people return to movement, and to life, with greater ease.
Each 60-minute session allows space to:
✓ Gently stretch and open the body
✓ Focus on individual problem areas
✓ Make thoughtful adjustments
✓ Rebuild movement patterns
✓ End with guided relaxation or meditation for a calm, grounded finish
At its core, Smart Yoga is guided by key principles that make it safe, accessible, and deeply supportive:
- We are all different. No two bodies are the same — so yoga should never be one-size-fits-all.
- Asanas are adapted to the person, not the other way around. Each pose is modified to suit the individual’s needs, abilities, and current condition.
- Purpose over perfection. We focus on what each movement is meant to achieve, not how it looks.
- Respecting limits. Ignoring pain or forcing the body only leads to setbacks. We move mindfully, with awareness and care.
- If it hurts, it’s wrong. Pain is never a sign of progress. It’s a signal to pause, reassess, and adjust.
- Stretching, not straining. True stretching happens when muscles are relaxed — not tense. We guide the body gently into release.
- Yoga is for everyone. Age, body type, injury, or disability should never be barriers. When practiced mindfully, yoga is always accessible.
Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga is a gentle and accessible form of yoga designed specifically for individuals with mobility limitations, including wheelchair users, older adults, people with balance challenges, and those with larger bodies. It offers a safe and supportive way to experience the physical and mental benefits of yoga—without needing to get up and down from the floor.
By using a sturdy chair for support, participants can practice yoga postures while seated or standing with balance assistance. This approach improves flexibility, muscle tone, circulation, and joint mobility, all while reducing strain on the body. For those with limited movement, even simple sequences and breathing exercises can enhance vitality, reduce stress, and support mental clarity.
Chair Yoga also fosters confidence and independence. It allows people to engage in physical activity at their own pace, regardless of age or physical ability. Chair Yoga creates inclusive opportunities for movement, relaxation, and overall well-being.
